Join artist Laura Cordery for an inspiring online practical session exploring a look at how artist and designers use drawing for creative problem-solving, reflection, and playful experimentation. We will look at examples by two artists and guide you through responding to their styles with your own drawings and mixed media creations, with no pressure and no need for perfection.
Online Singing

Join vocal coach Joanne Pierce for a free, friendly singing workshop created especially for carers. No experience or “performance” needed, just a chance to play with your voice through simple, enjoyable exercises and enjoy guided singing. It’s a relaxing, uplifting space where you can unwind, boost your energy, and feel more confident.
Online Voice skills through drama
Thursday 7.30 - 8.30 pm 17th Sept
Join theatre director Emily Bignell for a free, friendly session created especially for carers. No experience needed, just a chance to express yourself, and gain a taste of some skills in using your voice with confidence, humour, or persuasion. We will use low-demand, simple, enjoyable drama exercises and games to explore our voice. Bring along a news article, favourite phrase, joke or passage from a book and we can help you deliver this to a small friendly audience during the session.
We will also be showcasing The Boy and His Garden, the Radio drama made from the Ripple Effect Project 2026 available to listen to via QR code from Libraries in East Hertfordshire and North Hertfordshire.
